Ridge

The first room we sited and the least complicated. One window, cut through a wall half a metre thick, holding the eastern ridge and the basin floor beneath it. The reveal is deep enough that the light arrives with a hard edge and travels the length of the concrete between eight and eleven.

East-facing rooms get the worst of the morning. We were told to angle it. We did not.
